Rainbow Derby results:

This one day derby was formerly known as the Brampton Fire Fighter’s derby. It was held on Friday May 2, 2008 and 51 fish including rainbow, brown and lake trout and salmon were entered. The results were:

Rainbow trout

Paul Eagles 8.48 lbs

Rod Rowbottom 7.62 lbs

Bill Jennings 6.90 lbs

Mike Cordovale 6.60 lbs

Ray Morley 6.26 lbs (also the largest firefighters rainbow)

Brown trout

Dan Henderson 8.70 lbs (the largest fish)

Georgian Triangle Anglers Association Derby results:

This derby ran From April 26 to May 4, 2008. It was shortened by one week from former derbies.

Georgian Triangle Anglers' Association 2009 Rainbow Trout Derby

This one-day derby previous to 2008 was known as the Brampton Fire Fighter’s Derby. The date for 2009 Georgian Triangle Anglers' Association Rainbow Trout Derby will be May 7, 2009. 2009 Georgian Triangle Anglers' Association Derby

The longest serving derby on Georgian Bay. The dates for the 2009 Georgian Triangle Anglers' Association Derby will be April 17 to May 9, 2009. The categories will be Rainbow Trout, Lake/Brown Trout and salmon. The Derby Chairperson is John Baldry. For more information contact John at 705-446-9933.
